Cranial Sacral Therapist.

B. Sc. Occupational Therapy

I graduated from Occupational Therapy Department, National Taiwan University in 1985. I had my master degree from Occupational Therapy Program, State University of New York at Buffalo in 1991. I finished my certificate program of CranioSacral Therapy (CST) in Langara College 2013, and finished the Biodynamic CranioSacral Therapy (BCST) program in 2014, in Temecula, California.  In 2015, I graduated from the certificate program of Peer Counseling from UBC. Now I am pursuing the diploma of Natural Nutrition program from The Canadian School of Natural Nutrition.

2 years ago, one of my stroke clients was diagnosed to have no chance to walk at all. He has been bedridden for 6 months, suffered from chronic pain almost 24 hours each day and depressed. He came to me, the only wish from his words was “ I want to stand up and walk again”.  As an occupational therapist over 30 years and practicing biodynamic craniosacral therapy more than 12 years, I deeply believed he should be able to walk with device assistance. 6 months ago, he was able to walk with a cane and now he is able to go up and down stairs by himself while holding onto the handrails. He is able to do almost daily activities by himself except bathing which needs some physical assistance.

I strongly believe that “a philosophy was of little use unless it had a practical expression”.  After I combining biodynamic craniosacral therapy into my philosophy of practice, I have been given the belief that “the universal forces “ can help to heal the body physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Each body is born with a self-healing power which resonates with the universal forces. Igniting the self-healing power is my big job while combining biodynamic craniosacral therapy into my current practice as an occupational therapist.
