Electro Acupuncture

Electro-acupuncture is technique also called electrostimulation, where acupuncture needles are inserted on specific points along the body. The needles are then attached to a device that generates electric pulses using small clips.

Electro-acupuncture uses two needles at the same time so that the impulses can pass from one needle to the other. Several pairs of needles can be stimulated simultaneously.

Electro-acupuncture can provide a more consistent stimulation compared to manual manipulation of the needle. The intensity of the stimulation can be easily adjusted according to the needs of the patient. Electro-acupuncture is often used to treat muscle pain, atrophy, neuralgia, etc.
